| The program at Belle Heth focuses on differentiation provided by the
classroom teacher with support from the elementary gifted coordinator.
The students meet in small group settings with the gifted coordinator once weekly in each area of identification. These pull-out sessions occur during the time the student's regular class is having class in the area of identification. The classwork, homework, and activities assigned by the gifted coordinator are graded. These grades are averaged into the student's academic grade in that subject by the classroom teacher at the end of each six weeks. |
