Now that the new School Quality Profile reports for schools, school divisions and the Commonwealth are fully functional, the Virginia Department of Education is preparing to cease publication of the previous version of the School Performance Report Cards. These legacy online reports will become unavailable at close of business on Friday, March 31.
Divisions and schools should update website report card hyperlinks to point to the corresponding School Quality Profile reports before March 31 to ensure uninterrupted public access to information regarding school performance and quality. PDF and PNG files of a School Quality Profiles button are attached to this message. School Quality Profiles also include tools for use in sharing the reports through social media.
The Department has produced a series of short videos to help school divisions acquaint parents and the public with the new School Quality Profiles. The videos are available on the Virginia Department of Education YouTube channel. Posted March 15, 2017
