  J     5 single subject spiral notebooks
  J     4 heavy duty two-pocket folders
  J     24 wooden pencils (no mechanical or plastic coated, please)
  J     2 ream of laser copy paper
  J     1 package 24 count crayons
  J     1 package 12-count colored pencils
  J     2 red pens
  J     1 highlighter
  J     4 large glue sticks
  J     1 soft zipper pencil pocket
  J     3 boxes of tissues
  J     1 bottle of antibacterial hand sanitizer
  J     1 bottle of antibacterial hand soap
  J     1 container of Clorox wipes
  J     1 sketchbook (8x10) for art
  J     1 box of Ziploc bags (any size)
  J     1  1 inch binder
  J     1 pack of binder dividers (preferably with pockets)
       2 dry erase markers
       1 pack of small post-it notes
       1 pack of 3x5 index cards

Supplies needed just for Mrs. Lane's class in addition to the fourth grade supply list. 
2 old but clean white socks
1 box of Dixie cups

Digital Stories
We create digital stories in our classroom.  We use these to summarize things we have learned. They are fun to create and fun view when they are complete.  We use Photostory to create our videos. The videos can be viewed in Windows Media Player.

Smartboard

We have a Smartboard in our classroom. 
It is an interactive way to learn.  The students and teacher can use it to highlight, outline, or interact with the large computer like screen which reaches the visual and kinesthetic learner.

Laptops

We use the laptops in our class quite often.  This allows individual children to work at his/her own pace. The websites and activities we do follows our SOLs.
