The librarian, Mrs. Quesenberry, has our students once a week. She loves to read to the students, and they get to learn about almanacs and other fun reference materials. They may check out books weekly. |

Power Math |

Mrs. Hunter is our Power Math teacher. She teaches math to all of our fifth grade students twice a week. She expands on math concepts as well as reinforces the math our students are learning with Mrs. Luckett. |

Our students are able to have a computer lab class twice a week with Mrs. Hazleton. Each student is assigned a computer and will learn how to use certain programs and work on projects throughout the year. |

Aside from having PE three times a week with Ms. Wright, the students will also have classroom PE with Mrs. Luckett. Physical Education is 30 minutes long each day. |

Students are able to express themselves through art in a variety of ways. Each student is encouraged to draw in his or her sketchbook throughout the year. Art is taught by Mrs. Saunders. |

In music, students sing, play instruments, and learn about music history and composers. They will practice playing the recorder this year. Students in fifth grade are also given the opportunity to join the Belle Heth choir. Mrs. Findley teaches Music and also directs the Belle Heth choir. |
