Below is a list of assignments and activities we have during the year in our classroom. |

Each month, every student is required to read at least 10 points in Accelerated Reader books. Books must be on a 4.5 reading level or higher. Students can also earn prizes along the way! |

We will take several field trips throughout the year. Past field trips included The Frontier Culture Museum, Radford University Geology Museum, VMI, and Wolf Creek Indian Village. |
|
In fifth grade, all Belle Heth students will be taking the Writing, English, Reading, Math, and Science Standards of Learning (SOLs) tests. |
|
In fifth grade, students will be learning about everyday life skills. A parent volunteer comes into our classroom once a month to work with the students. |
|
Students have a chance to get their writings posted on this website throughout the year. |
