Parent Resource Center
Located in Radford High School

The Parent Resource Center is located in Radford High School .  This center exists to assist and support parents of children with special needs.  The center has a lending library with a wide variety of topics concerning special education that are available to parents of special needs students and teachers.  During the school year, several free workshops are offered to parents and teachers about a variety of relevant topics.  We also have contact information for various area support groups.

News from The Radford Parent Resource Center

Our Lending Library is still growing. Our newest addition is The Internet kids & family Yellow Pages. It lists many websites for research, assignments, and fun.

Support Groups are still meeting for the New River Valley ADHD and the Down Syndrome Association of the New River Valley, Inc.

Contact your Radford Parent Resource Center for information on these support groups or to find out more about a topic of interest to you. You can also sign up to be added to the Radford Parent Resource Center Newsletter.  731-3679
