Accreditation:

Belle Heth School recently completed a successful Peer Review evaluation for initial accreditation as a new school in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Belle Heth School completed a SACS School Improvement self study, which involved not only the school, but parents and community partners as well.

Each aspect of school life was examined and reported on. The first section of such a self-study involved the creation of the following mission statement for the school: "Our mission is to make learning an enjoyable, life-long habit which enriches students and their community."

To verify this self-study, a SACS Peer Review Team spent two days at Belle Heth reviewing documentation and data collected by the School Improvement Leadership Team.

Belle Heth School will be formally inducted as a new SACS member school at ceremonies during the SACS annual meeting in December in Atlanta.
