          Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to create meaningful experiences for children that will foster a love of learning.   I believe children learn best as  they actively participate in learning by moving around the room, working with peers, using technology and spending time with real developmentally appropriate literature.  As a class we strive to develop a community of learners that respects the varied learning styles, interests and abilities of each member.

"Real teaching occurs not from imparting information, but from rousing intellectual thinking."
