Radford High School is now a Virginia Music Education Association Blue Ribbon School!

"Choral Music at Radford High School has a long 
tradition  of excellence.  Through participation in 
the choral music program, students learn not only 
the techniques of good singing and music literacy, 
but team work and self pride as well."

The Radford High School Choral program was established in 1949
by Mrs. Marie Dobbins (Reynolds) and has had only three choral
directors since its inception.  Mrs Dobbins currently lives on her
family farm in New Castle Virginia.  Mrs. Lois Carr (choral director
1965-1986) passed away in 2005.  Mrs. Lois Castonguay has directed
the Radford High School Choirs since 1987.
