Library Rules

 

*      Talk softly.

*      Do not bring food, candy, gum, or drinks into the library.

*      Replace magazines you have used.  If you’re not sure where they go, ask Ms. Gilmer or 

        Mrs. Graham, or leave them on the circulation desk. 

*      After you finish using a book, leave it on the circulation desk to be reshelved.

*      Close computer programs you have used when you are done.

*      Be sure you have all your books, notebooks, pencils, backpacks, etc. before you leave

        the library.

*      Throw away all trash before you leave.

 

 

Library Procedures for Students

 

*      When you come to the library with your class, follow your teacher’s instructions as

         usual.  Since you’re in the library, follow Ms. Gilmer’s and Mrs. Graham’s instructions, 

         also.

*      If you have come to the library on your own, then a class comes in and needs your

        computer or table, you will have to give up your place to the class.

*      Pay at the desk for printing. Computer printouts are free for the first five pages, 5 cents

        for each page after that.  Xerox copies are 10 cents per page.

 

 

The Most Important Rules

 

*      Take care of your library:  treat library materials, equipment, and furniture with respect.

*      Treat other library users with respect.

*      Ask for help when you need it.  You’ll make our day!
