The Youth Risk Behavior Survey is scheduled to be given to all 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th graders at some point during the school day on Monday, November 19. Per school board policy KFB, the school division must notify parents of this type of survey 30 days before it is administered in order to let parents review survey questions and decide if they want to opt their child/children out from survey participation. If you wish to opt your child/children out of survey participation after reviewing the middle school or high school surveys, you must contact school building administration to inform them of your decision. Please know that the Youth Risk Behavior Survey provides Radford City Schools and New River Community Services with valuable data and information helping us to create programs that meet the needs of our students. We hope you will choose to have your child/children participate. For questions regarding the survey, please contact building administration or central office. Have a great day!
