Bobcat Backpacks Program

The Bobcat Backpacks Program would like to invite the RCPS community to support our “Radford Gives Back” canned food drive event on Oct. 17, 6:30-8pm at the Presbyterian Church of Radford. Radford University is holding it's 4th Annual "Radford Gives Back” campus wide food drive. The entire campus is challenged to collect 15,000 food items to donate to the Bobcat Backpacks who feed 175 Radford City Public School children in need of weekend food.

We ask the RCPS community to help the Bobcat Backpacks celebrate and unload the truck full of food from 6:30-8pm at the Presbyterian Church of Radford. Please encourage your students, your teams, and your staff to participate in supporting this program that is dedicated to serving the needs of our food-insecure students. The event is a great opportunity to show our Bobcat Pride! Wear your Bobcat Gear and cheer Go Bobcats!

Please contact bobcatbackpacks@gmail.com with any further questions.
