Mrs. Kennedi White / Kindergarten
Hello! My name is Kennedi White. I am a Kindergarten teacher at McHarg Elementary School. I committed to graduate from Pulaski County High School in Dublin, Virginia in 2015. I committed to graduate from Radford University in 2019. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I also committed to graduate from Western Governors University this year. I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This will be my third year teaching, and I am thrilled for the 2021-2022 school year.
I am most excited about getting to watch each child learn, explore, and grow in my classroom while working alongside parents to ensure a successful year for each student. As a child, I remember being inspired by my elementary teachers and their compassion and enthusiasm for teaching. Therefore, my goal as a teacher is to also inspire, be compassionate toward each student, and help them to reach their fullest potential while promoting a positive and enthusiastic learning environment.
I am eager to make a difference in the lives of others and will strive for excellence in education, in every student, every day. I am proud to be a part of the McHarg family and Radford City Schools! I look forward to working with you and your child!
We will be following all health and safety guidance from Radford City Public Schools.
