Shannon Ferguson

Hey there! I'm Shannon Ferguson, 6th grade language arts teacher. I am so excited to be back in Radford City, back at Belle Heth Elementary, and back in the 6th grade! A little about me: 

 

- I grew up in Botetourt County, just north of her on I-81.

- I attended Radford University and did my student teaching in RCPS (shoutout to Ms. Zienius and Mrs. Martin!).

- This is my 8th year teaching and my 4th year in 6th grade.

- I love traveling, the beach (especially Oak Island, NC), coffee, books, and cooking.

- I have a wonderful husband, John, and brand new daughter, Conleigh, and we love living in the Radford area. 

 

English and language arts is one of my biggest passions in life, and I can't wait to inspire the next generation to explore the world through books. Go Bobcats!
