Radford City Schools

Welcome to Belle Heth music!  Here at BH, we have a music program that develops musicianship with singing, playing instruments, and moving.  Our classes are based on the Virginia Standards of Learning for Music.  Please check the VDOE website for a list of your grade level Music Standards.  The pacing guides can be found on our BH website.
In music class, we have the following expectations: As a Belle Heth musician, I will be well behaved, listen to and follow directions, use self-control, be respectful to people, instruments and materials, participate and do my best.
3rd-5th grade students are expected to bring their recorder to class.  If you wish to purchase one, please send in $6.00 cash.
At Belle Heth, students may also participate in performing groups that meet after school.  At the end of rehearsals, parents or guardians must provide a ride home, or the student may walk to the Recreation Center. If you are interested in any of these, please contact me.
