Mrs. Findley's Music Class

Welcome to music!

My name is Mrs. Findley, and I have been the music teacher in Radford City for 20 years, and have been a music teacher for 30 years. I have a love of children and music and we will be music makers together!

The music program at McHarg/Belle Heth Elementary Schools strives to ensure that each student has a positive experience in the musical classroom setting. Students will experience many world cultures through singing, movement and instrument playing.  I hope to instill a desire within the students to make music a part of their lives, giving them a sense of confidence in becoming active participants, listeners, and consumers of music for their lifetime. Students are given the opportunity to participate in singing songs, playing a variety of rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic instruments, and learning folk dances in a variety of styles and cultures. This helps to create an understanding of music, and its place in our world.
