Welcome to the Nurse's Office!

Welcome to McHeth!  We are so excited to welcome McHarg students and staff to our building during their building renovation.. This gives us a chance to meet our new little friends now, and when they are ready to move up to Belle Heth we will already be acquainted. Nurse Kelly and I are sharing an office and are both very happy to answer any questions or concerns and help you when you are not feeling well. I am also excited to see my  returning students from last year. It was a long summer and you were missed!

The National Association of School Nurses defines school nursing as:  A specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students.  To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and, actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning.
