Welcome to 2022-2023 school year. I am thrilled to begin my 2nd year as Associate Principal at Radford High School working alongside Assistant Principal, Cam Sellars and Principal, Tara Grant. Last year finally started to feel like normal coming back off of the pandemic and having schools either shut down or on a modified schedule. With that normalcy, we can now get back to what makes Radford High School and Radford City School so wonderful. We had many championships and accolades in our Fine Arts Programs as well as our Academic and Athletic teams. The pride and tradition in Radford City Schools are what make it such a honor to not only work here but to have also graduated from. I'm excited to not only carry on the tradition here but to also build upon the foundation that has been laid from former Bobcats before me. My hope is that everyone has their best year yet.

 

I am invested in Radford City Schools as a alumni, employee, and parent. My wife, Lori, is also an educator in Radford City Schools as well as 2 kids who are students within the division, Grant and Jacqueline. Again, I look forward to the new school year and new adventures. Always remember...We Are All Bobcats!

 
 
I committed to graduate from Radford High School in 1998.  I also committed to graduate from Virginia Tech with my undergrad degree in Health and Physical Education in 2003 and again in 2004 with my Master's Degree in Health Promotion.  I also went back after I started teacher to obtain an endorsement from Radford University.  I began my teaching career in 2004 serving as a Health and Physical Education at Radford High School, Dalton Intermediate, and Belle Heth Elementary before moving into administration in 2015.  I also kept busy during my years as a teacher by coaching Football, Track and Field, and Basketball.  I also I am truly excited to start this school year because of the many innovative initiatives at Radford High School and in Radford City Schools.  Radford is a top notch division to work in with a great faculty and tremendous students.  I hope that I can give back to a division that gave me so much as a student.  Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat!
