Nicole Scartelli Sykes
Hello Bobcat Families!
My name is Nicole Scartelli Sykes and for the 2022-2023 school year I will be teaching French 1, 2, 3&4 as well as Spanish 1. I have been teaching since 2005 after graduating from Radford University with Political Science, French, and Spanish degrees. I am a graduate of Radford High School (class of '99) and recently in 2019, I received my Masters Degree from Virginia Tech in Multilingual Studies, focusing on French and Spanish.
After teaching in Wythe County Public Schools for 7 years, I was excited to return back to Radford High to teach! Growing up here, I had such wonderful memories and teachers and am happy to pay it forward. Having two sons in the school system as well, I am thrilled that they are where I grew up.
My favorite thing about our school community is all of the great spirit we have and how helpful everyone is.
