Jeff SmithPrincipalEndorsed in Secondary Social Studies and Secondary AdministrationVirginia Tech - 1985 History and Social Studies EducationM.S. in Educational Leadership from Radford University - 1994I committed to graduate from R.B. Worthy High School in 1981, Virginia Tech in 1985 (BA), and Radford University (MS) in 1994. I was inspired to become an educator due to the influence of my teachers and coaches who were wonderful role models. I have enjoyed my time as an educator, and look forward to the many exciting changes we are implementing at RHS for the 2019-2020 school year.
Greetings! As we enter our second week of mandatory school closures, I want to remind everyone to take care of yourselves and your family. As stated by numerous medical experts, the best way to slow the spread of COVID-19 is to follow good hygiene practices such as washing your hands, not touching your face, and maintaining proper social distancing.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers and staffs of all the schools in our division, as well as our Central Office administration and staff for their tireless efforts to provide support to our students and families during these most trying of times.
Below are some links to valuable resources for your use until we are able to once again come together here at good 'ole RHS. In the meantime, stay well and keep a positive attitude! This, too, shall pass!
