BS in English Education from Radford
University.  Master of Arts and Liberal Studies (concentration in creative writing) from Hollins University
 
Ms. Tapp has been a Forensics coach at  RHS for 16 years and previously coached theater at RHS for 12 years.    She serves on the VHSL Advisory Committee for Speech, Debate, and Theater Coaches.  She has been enjoying sponsoring the RHS Acorn (the school newspaper) for the past 3 years.
 
Ms. Tapp is a National Board Certified Teacher in English/Language Arts. She won the McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence in 2015. Winning this award allowed her to travel with the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teacher's Program to Germany and Poland to study the Holocaust with scholars, other teachers, and Holocaust Survivors.
