Tina Tapp
English Teacher/Theatre Teacher/Journalism Teacher
BS in English Education from Radford University. 
Master of Arts and Liberal Studies (concentration in creative writing) from Hollins University
Mrs. Tapp has been a Forensics and Theatre coach at  RHS for 17 years. She has served on the VHSL Advisory Committee for Speech, Debate, and Theater Coaches. 
Mrs. Tapp is a National Board Certified Teacher in English/Language Arts. She won the McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence in 2015. Winning this award allowed her to travel with the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teacher's Program to Germany and Poland to study the Holocaust with scholars, other teachers, and Holocaust Survivors.
After teaching for the past 22 years, Mrs. Tapp can't think of anything she would rather do with her life than work with teenagers!
