Welcome to 2022-2023 school year. I am so excited to see you learn and grow through out the year.
I strive each day to help you child be an Exceptional Bobcat by helping them learn to be safe, respectful, and peaceful. If you were to walk into our classroom, you will feel loved and welcomed into our class family. I work hard to help children learn our Kindergarten standards in a way that is engaging, rigorous, and fun. We learn to be problem solvers through project based learning and STEAM activities.

- My name is Nicole Watson, and I teach Kindergarten at McHarg Elementary. This is my eighth year at McHarg, but my 22nd year teaching. I committed to graduate from Radford High School in 1994. I continued my education at Ricks College, where I committed to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Education in 1996. I started teaching preschool while I committed to graduate from Radford University in 2000 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher my entire life, but my third grade teacher inspired me to be a teacher. She invested in me. She freely gave her love and time into her students and inspired me to make learning fun. She truly made an impact on all of her students.
I am excited to start another year at McHarg. I strive to make my classroom a place where students feel love, safe, and acceptance. I am passionate about making school engaging and fun. I love for my students to move, sing, and play. At the same time I work hard to teach standards in a way that is engaging and provides multiple ways for students to learn.
