“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” — Joshua J. Marine
Welcome to 2022-2023 school year. I am so excited to see you! Though we have had a challenging past two years, I hope to make this year in Earth Science meaningful and rewarding. My name is Caroline Hickam and I have been teaching for 12 years. I committed to graduate from Radford University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and currently hold a Collegiate Professional License. I am certified to teach Earth and Space Science and History/Social Science Middle Education grades 6-8.I am passionate about the preservation of Earth and teaching students to understand and appreciate the beauty and wonder of our world. It is my hope to inspire students to be curious about their world and foster a lifelong journey of asking and learning about the nature of why things happen and what each of us can do to ensure the betterment of our unique planet.
