Student Services: Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act,
In order for RCPS to provide a free appropriate public education for students who are protected under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, services and accommodations and modifications will likely be necessary. These may be implemented in the general education
classes. There are numerous accommodations and modifications that schools can include in
students' educational plans. RCPS utilizes Virginia IEP by PCG Education to provide the forms
and guide the process to determine if a child is eligible for 504 services or develop a 504 Plan.
If you would like to make a referral for 504 services please contact the main office of the school your child attends:
Radford High School
Dalton Intermediate School
Belle Heth Elementary
McHarg Elementary
